Grandma Land

 Hello from your fellow grandma! 👵🌻 I am honestly sort of starting to get a little old here at the CCM... I am going into my 4th week here, and I have officially entered the "Solo Espanol" era 👽 (basically when we are only allowed to speak Spanish 🙂🔇) 

This week was another baller one! 🕺 It is starting to get a tiny but repetitive, but I need every moment I can get here, so I look for joy in the journey 😌🦜 (like winning sand volleyball on Saturday 🏐🏆) Shoutout to my BYU sand volleyball pals and intramural team for training me for this moment 🙏💸

Something that gets me through everyday is the insanely vivid dreams I have every. single. night. 🌛💤 

Hermana Brimhall described it perfectly the other night- "I can't wait to go to bed to watch a movie." 🎥🧞‍♀️ I seriously wake up every morning having to adjust back to reality 🪐🌌 (shoutout Alysee, Maddie, my cheer team, Caleb, my whole district and half of my stake for making it in a dream) 🥸

This week we threw our teacher, Hermano Rodriguez a party! 🎉🇲🇽 It was his birthday, so we bought him a shirt and all signed it, and got him a bunch of treats from the tienda, and he was almost in tears. 🥹🤧 Because we have entered "solo espanol," thie week, we taught actual Latinos during our lessons! 🐬

It actually went super good, and even though our Spanish is pretty trash, they always hype us up 👸🧚

Also, guess who has officially been a missionary for a month! (As of tomorrow) 🙀 #only17moremonths 💅

Shoutout to Élder Ditto for venturing to his mission on Monday 🖖 You will be deeply missed here ☮️🕊

This past Sunday was amazing. 💟💟 Fast Sunday as a missionary is actually insane. (Fast Sunday is something we do once a month, and we go without food or drink for 24 hours or 2 meals.) Anyways, testimony meeting was so powerful, and I actually feel like I felt the spirit in Spanish 🙌🎂 Me and Brimhall also taught Relief Society! (Church class) in Spanish! 🦋🙈 We talked about why having 'Christlike attributes' is important, and we had everyone make their own vision board/paper drawing of what they want to strive for 🌟💖

It DOWN POURED on Sunday evening, the moment we were suppose to go eat dinner- and it was actually wild. ⛈️ We were outside for like 5 seconds and were DRENCHED 💦 It was hilarious because we were all too starving to care 🎀

THANK YOU again for the emails I received this week. 💐 Honestly, I prayed this week to be able to feel God's love and see his hand in my life, and your emails are one of the BIGGEST ways I feel his love, and know that he is watching out for me 💚🩵 

You should all know that Heavenly Father loves you so much 💌 Even though it is hard to feel it sometimes, he knows EVERYTHING you struggle with and go through, and he will help you and send you miracles when you ask him. 🌞🌄 Go be champions this week, and find ways to help people feel Gods love in their life. 🧸 I love you! 💗
